Dunedin, Florida - Crime scene technicians process a Dunedin home, but if what investigators say happened on Union Street is true, it doesn't take an expert to recognize the dangerous mix -- drugs, alcohol, teens and a gun.

"These kids, were all kids on the wrong track," said Pinellas
...more Sheriff Bob Gualtieri at a Friday afternoon news conference.

According to the Sheriff, a party at the duplex on Wednesday turned deadly. Four friends had just purchased a stolen handgun. They were drinking, smoking pot and K2, and playing around with the 9 millimeter. The party ended after 17-year-old Michael Parker III put the Ruger's barrel up to Justin Cleveland's head.

"He put the gun right up here to his forehead," said the Sheriff, gesturing with his hand. "They engaged in some playful bantering and at that point Michael Parker pulled the trigger."

Gualtieri says Parker had pulled the magazine off the gun, but a bullet was still in the chamber.

Dunedin, Florida -- The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says it appears teens playing with a gun lead to the shooting death of 18-year-old Justin Blake Cleveland Wednesday.

According to police, 17-year-old Michael Parker III was arrested this morning at 2971 Estancia Boulevard, Unit

Detectives say between 6:30 and 7 p.m., Parker and three other teens were playing with a gun they bought on April 2 from a 16-year-old. They were taking turns loading, unloading, racking, re-racking and dry-firing at themselves and each other while drinking, smoking pot, and K2.

At one point, Parker put the magazine clip in, racked the gun, took out the clip, pointed the gun at Cleveland's forehead and pulled the trigger. The gun went off shooting Cleveland in the head.

The group panicked and ran, ditching the gun. One of the boys had second thoughts and called

Clearwater, Florida -- It's the first-of-its-kind study to suggest what critics have long suspected. Scientific, peer-reviewed evidence that taser guns, long touted as non-lethal weapons, can cause cardiac arrest and death.

People living here in the Bay area hope the article may lead
...more to changes at local law enforcement agencies that use the weapons.

At least two incidents involving law enforcement's use of a tasers have come under scrutiny in the past year in Tampa Bay.

In Pinellas Park, an FHP trooper was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing after firing his taser at Danielle Maudsley.

The young woman was trying to escape from the FHP substation - still in handcuffs. Maudsley fell, striking her head on the pavement. The incident has left her in a vegetative state.

"This is common sense meets a new study and I don't think it's surprising anyone in the business who knows how a taser works," said Maudsley's attorney, Kevin
