Plant City, Florida -- The Plant City Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds Sunday.
According to police, around 6:42 a.m. at 1501 E. Ohio St., 28-year-old Christopher Nelson, of St. Pete, was shot by a man described as...more a black male, 5'10" in mid-20s who is still at-large.
Police say they believe this is not a random act, but a motive has not yet been established.
Nelson is in stable condition and is cooperating with detectives. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Major Crimes Sergeant James Schultz at 813-757-9200.
