Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp has left the Longhorns to take over at Florida.  Muschamp will succeed Urban Meyer, who won two national championships in six seasons with the Gators but resigned Wednesday after a 7-5 season.

Brooks and Dunns' current single is about to do double duty. "Play Something Country" has been reworked in to "Let's Play Some Football" and will be featured as the game opener for Jefferson Pilot Sports' 2005 football season.
